For IPL auction 2018, the teams’ wallet was increased to Rs 80 crore from Rs 60 crore. However, Rs 33 crore were deducted from all the team’s wallet that retained three players, Rs 21 crore if two players were retained and Rs 12.5 crore if only one player was retained.

Shikhar Dhawan wishes get well soon to Injured Shoaib Malik & Pakistan Fans Loved his sportsmanship

India opener Shikhar Dhawan posted a get well soon message for Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik, who was hit on the head during the fourth ODI against New Zealand in Hamilton. "Janab @realshoaibmalik, hope you're recovering well and will be fit soon to be back on the field! Take care," tweeted Dhawan.

Virat Kohli declared ICC Cricketer of The Year

Virat Kohli has got some good news after losing in two matches and marrying Anushka, and it's his achievement among all the cricketers across the globe, yes it's the best cricketer of the year. Kohli was chosen as ICC Cricketer of the year this time too, last time he had won the same awards in 2012.

Kohli was also named the ICC ODI Cricketer of the Year and captain of both ICC Test and ODI teams.

In the qualification period from September 21, 2016 to the end of 2017, Kohli scored 2,203 Test runs at an average of 77.80 including eight centuries and 1,818 ODI runs including seven centuries at 82.63.



In the nominations for ODIs, Kohli was placed nominated alongside Pakistan paceman Hasan Ali, Afghanistan leg-spinner Rashid Khan and his own teammate Rohit Sharma.

Three Indians made it to the 2017 Test team of the year, and it includes big name like Ravichandran Ashwin, Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli, who was also named as the captain for the side. Australian skipper Steve Smith bagged the honour of being the Cricketer of the year in the format.

Rising leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal was also recognized for his tremendous performance in T20 cricket and his 6-wicket haul against England in Bengaluru was recognized as the ICC T20I Performance of the Year.
